Desiring Marriage is back! I’ll be publishing a new article every Saturday Morning at 9am GMT.
Almost 4 years ago I started this blog to explore, deal with issues and find a solution for the christian single woman who desires marriage. I stopped posting because I felt I didn’t have the experience to talk about marriage and relationships and I didn’t want to ‘be judged’ or seen as ‘desperate’ (I was sharing blog posts on my personal Facebook page which I will no longer do).
Why is it that desiring marriage is often seen as taboo for a christian woman? Why is it more normal to say “Jesus is my husband” than “I want to be a wife to a great man of God”.
I want to completely break the stigma of desiring marriage and wanting to be a wife for the glory of God! The bible says in Isiah 34:16 “Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.”
John 14:13-14 – “13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” If you are desiring marriage as a single christian woman and want to be a wife soon, Say Amen!
